Following the success of our award-winning celebrations in 2024, SEBBA returned with its 3rd year of Durga Puja celebrations from 28 September to 2 October 2025, at the White House, HSR Layout, Bengaluru — a prime and easily accessible location in one of Bengaluru's most vibrant neighbourhoods.
Rooted in the spirit of “Puja with a Heart”, SEBBA's Durga Puja brings together the warmth of Bengali tradition, the diversity of Bengaluru and a strong commitment to community, culture and inclusivity. The five-day celebration offered devotees, members, families and guests an opportunity to experience the authentic spirit of Sharadiya Durga Puja while enjoying music, dance, food and cultural festivities.
Highlights of Durga Puja 2025
- Puja with a Heart:
SEBBA’s signature philosophy continued to be at the heart of the celebrations — creating a welcoming, family-like atmosphere where everyone could experience the warmth and joy of Bengali Puja. The celebrations brought together Bengalis and friends of Bengal from across Bengaluru and beyond. - A Prime HSR Layout Location:
The 2025 Puja was hosted at the White House, HSR Layout, providing a spacious and prominent venue for the festivities, cultural performances, community gatherings, food and celebrations. - Celebrating Maa Durga & Bengali Tradition:
The five-day festivities commenced with Maha Shashthi on 28 September 2025, followed by the traditional celebrations of Saptami, Ashtami, Navami and Vijayadashami, bringing the timeless rituals and traditions of Durga Puja to the heart of Bengaluru. - Dhunuchi Dance:
One of the most loved Bengali Puja traditions, the Dhunuchi Dance added energy, devotion and festive spirit to the celebrations. The traditional dance with dhunuchi created a vibrant Puja atmosphere and gave members an opportunity to participate and celebrate together. - Dandiya Night – Members Only:
The celebrations also featured a lively Dandiya event exclusively for SEBBA members, bringing together community members for an evening of music, dance and festive fun. - Star-Studded Cultural Evenings:
The 2025 cultural programme featured celebrated performers including Anamika Deb on Sosthi, Manomay Bhattacharya on Saptami and Sonali Banerjee on Ashtami, alongside specially curated cultural performances and in-house programmes. - Community & Inclusive Celebrations:
Continuing SEBBA’s commitment to inclusivity, the Puja aimed to create a space where people from different backgrounds could come together, participate and celebrate. Our association with Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled continued the spirit of giving back to the community. - Food, Flea Market & Festive Experience:
Visitors enjoyed a vibrant flea market and food stalls, adding to the festive atmosphere and creating a complete Puja experience for families, friends and visitors.
A Legacy of Excellence
The 2025 celebration built upon SEBBA’s success in 2024, when our Puja, organised in collaboration with Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, received recognition at the Sharad Samman from Bharatiya Bongio Samaj, including awards for Best Puja, 2nd Prize for Theme and 2nd Prize for Idol.
With every celebration, SEBBA continues to blend Bengali heritage, Indian culture, community spirit and social responsibility — making Durga Puja not just a festival, but an experience of belonging.

Borsho Boron 2025
15th april 2025Festivities and celebrations don't stop at SEBBA, as we call it, 'baro mashe tero parbon', an occasion for every month !
SEBBA had their Borsho Baran event on 19th April @ Curry Story, HSR, to usher the Bengali New year in tradition and style. Draped in gorgeous traditional attires, SEBBAites gathered for a joyful celebration, praying for a new year that would bring in peace and prosperity for all, and enjoying the sumptuous traditional Bengali dinner.
Saraswati Puja 2025
2nd feb 2025SEBBA Bani-bandana - A beautiful celebration of knowledge and enlightenment that took place on 2nd February 2025 - with SEBBA family and our wonderful guests who joined us from different parts of Bangalore !
The idol, adorning pristine white 'sholar saaj' was breath-takingly gorgeous. The decoration was beautifully done by team SEBBA. Along with the devotional offerings of Puja and Pushpanjali, there was also Hatey-Khori for the tiny tots, a ritual that introduces little ones to the world of alphabets and knowledge. SEBBA inhouse artists and youngsters entertained everyone with their cultural performances. Members and guests savoured the yummy bhog, which is an integral part of our celebration!
Shades of yellow donned by attendees, which is the signature color of Basant Panchami reminded us of the arrival of spring and the flowering of marigold blossoms !
We had an amazing crowd visiting our puja, offering pushpanjali and enjoying every bit of celebration with us. Our heartfelt thanks to everyone for adding to our joy and making our event successful !
SEBBA Annual Picnic 2025
12 th jan 2025Nature, nibbles....and our favourite people – that was SEBBA's Day Out, 12th Jan 2025 !!
As the saying goes - 'Life is a picnic, enjoy the little things'....for SEBBA, it was the right note to start the year, where all the members can take a day's break, chill out at outdoors and fill in as much oxygen as we need to kick start the new year !! So, we set out on our annual picnic on Sunday, 12th Jan 2025, to a small hideout amidst nature and tranquility - Bristol Cottage.
Soaked in SEBBA spirit of fun, warmth n togetherness, we had an absolutely wonderful time playing cricket, badminton and lots of games, taking strolls in the woods, singing and dancing, enjoying each other's company while savouring the delicacies....and yes, celebrating our success and awards won for 2024 Durga Puja !!
