SEBBA - Challenging the Status Quo

SEBBA, an acronym for South East Bengaluru Bengali Association has more than a similarity to the popular and often used word from the Indian vernacular “SEVA”

Yes, you guessed it correct – SEBBA stands for Service.Service to all the stakeholders who are an integral part of the organisation and Service to the less privileged.

SEBBA is a unique experiment. It is the cumulative effort of all who stand by it. It is a pooling of resources. SEBBA reinforces the idea of collective action.

SEBBA believes in measuring its own success rather than be judged by outsiders.

SEBBA is a work-in-progress. It was formed less than a year ago. It has burst upon the scene as a breath of fresh air. It has spread its wings naturally. It is growing. A fledgling which is finding its feet naturally.

SEBBA believes in the right journey. The destination can be reached in a number of ways. Yet we are known for the path we choose. SEBBA will tread the path less trod, if it is the right way albeit difficult.

SEBBA is a Social Organisation, a meeting of minds and hearts, numbers and targets are left outside, at our working places.

SEBBA believes in learning from its mistakes and adopting wholesome practices.

SEBBA believes in putting the right person in the right place and getting the best out of individuals.

SEBBA believes in unity and collective responsibility. Every member of SEBBA is an ambassador of the organisation and every member is responsible to uphold the values SEBBA stands for.
